Who We Are
Since the pandemic, we have been working as a community to become normal again.
One of our greatest accomplishments as a team is working through the troubles of quarantining for the past few years. We have mentored over 60 kids throughout Detroit aging from 7 – 17 yrs old. Our young boys and girls deserve the opportunity to feel normal again. We have fed the homeless, cleaned up the community, learned some life skills and had much fun doing it.
We believe that the “trouble youth” is misguided and misdirected. With some therapy and mental training the heart of their anger and misbehavior can be uprooted professionally. The cornerstone of the services we provide begins with love.

All of our programs and activities are tailored to the individual youth participating in DGA. Whether its volunteering, employment, or membership; we take pride in our ability to serve the youth in our community.

When you feel the true presence of love, you feel what it’s like to be a part of the DGA family. We strive to touch, speak, see, and hear with the power of glory on our side. Without it we would be flawed and purposeless.

The services provided by DGA is counseling, therapy, mentoring and foster care for troubled youth in Detroit.

The need of guidance and assistance for the youth is ubiquitous across the nation and Detroit GuardiAngels are impacting a few to save many within the community.

By tailoring the assistance to each youth, we extend the possibility of success beyond our internal programs and build partnerships that has a similar mission for the youth.
